LogicBUY is a new referral website that posts tech deals and coupons and posts them in a way that makes it effortless to find the best deals. The site sports a simple and effective “Hot or Not” rating system that highlights superior deals and employs the combined effort of the LogicBUY staff along with community submitted picks to find them. Let's take a closer look at the site's features to find out what makes it special.

I love saving money.  Spending countless hours looking for internet deals takes serious effort and who knows when you'll be able to land a worthy bargain.  There are plenty of websites that will show you several prices of the same product and others that provide a list of items that you may or may not find interesting.  But with all of this information, a question arises for the bargain hunter.  Which deals are really good?  To find this out, I have to spend even more time researching the product and reading through page after page of user comments to get an idea of the deal’s status.

How It Works

According to the site, the goal of LogicBUY states, "Our mission is simple, to provide you the very best tech deals on the web so that you save the most money possible."  That's a noble cause and relevant to my interests.  LogicBUY shares the same basic blueprint as other tech bargain websites but if you are unfamiliar with the process, here's how they work.

FIND - LogicBUY deal finders and the user community join forces to pinpoint the hottest bargains on the interweb.

SHARE - The results are presented on the website for users to see and rate based on their value.

RATE - Deals move up to the front page if they receive Hot votes and fade away if they collect Not votes.

SHOP - Find the latest deals quickly or check out the specials that will end soon.

Hot or Not?  You Make the Call!

LogicBUY's Hot or Not feature sets it apart from other web deal sites.  I'm completely sold on this feature as it gives bargain hunters a quick visual reference on the deal's popularity and makes finding the best ones a simple task.  Registered users can submit a tech deal if they think it sizzles.  New deals start off with a low number rating and as more people vote on its value, the higher the number gets.  The user community is in sole control of the deal's rating and the website uses this information to place the products according to their votes.  Only the best of the best make it to the front page while the super elite deals are found at the very top, waiting for your attention.

Test Drive

I took a look around the latest deals and found some awesome prices for cutting edge tech.  Right now it seems that laptops, cameras and phones rule the front page.  I really like the site's layout and natural flow which makes navigating through it a pleasant experience.  There are tabs and quick links that will take you to the latest deals along with yesterday's results and specials that are ending soon.  If the item you're looking for is not on the main page, conduct a search and LogicBUY will provide results consisting of the deals posted to the site and also PriceGrabber's findings.

So what kind of deals did I find today?  After typing in "GTX 280" in the search box, one hot deal came up from Amazon for $344.99 ($649.99 - $230 instant - $75 rebate).  Oh my!  I quickly head over to Amazon to check it out.  Within seconds, I was able to find the lowest price I've come across on this particular videocard.  Awesome!

Our Recommendation

LogicBUY's main strength is its simplicity. While other tech deal websites provide similar services, they don't provide the same focus that LogicBUY provides.  Users don't have to search through 20 piece drill bit specials or 15% off women's tank tops coupons just to find a great sale on tech.  The Hot or Not ranking feature makes them unique and displays the most popular deals first, which makes it easy to identify killer prices while significantly cutting down your research time. And the website has a fantastic layout that is easy on the eyes and a cinch to navigate.

As a computer hardware enthusiast, I would love to see more PC components show up on LogicBUY. There are already several hard drive deals being displayed but more memory kits and videocards would bring a smile to my face. As more PC users join the community, I'm sure this issue will resolve itself and we will find a better balance of products.

Whenever you get people working as a team, tasks usually become more efficient and goals are reached more quickly.  That's the idea behind LogicBUY and that's why it's becoming one of my favorite sites.  The free service they provide you works well because it cuts out the excess and presents you with exactly what you're looking for - the hottest tech deals currently available on the internet.  The next time you're online looking for cutting edge technology, do yourself a big favor and check out the great deals and coupons they have posted on LogicBUY.com.

Other Reviews of Note

Its always nice to have more than one opinion on a component before you spend your hard earned money. For one, we may see something others missed, or vice versa. As with all reviews published at HardwareLogic, we'll not only give you our recommendation, but also point out some reviews from some other great sites around the web.
